I love the character development of Yammie never understanding Royal Enfields to actually recommending them TWICE in this video over the listed bikes!!

There really is no reason any bike should cost over $25k with the exception of limited edition machines.

I own a royal Enfield interceptor.. It has few negatives but it's a total value for money and a beautiful bike no matter what.. can't be more in love with it

I've put 35k miles on a bike I spent less than $2300 on and it's mechanically flawless to this day. Buy used.

I have a W800 and I like it, but I bought it used with 428 miles on it for $5000 / half price. I also drive used Harleys that I buy for a 1/3 of the regular price. Thank God for the people that bought them new.

As an older rider I hate to be all like stereotypical, but I had to laugh when you said the Thruxton made "Only 103 HP". I can still remember when the Honda CBX was "OMG It broke the 100HP barrier".

The funny thing about the R18 is:
It's such a bad bang for buck that people don't buy it and buyers don't keep it. You already get some first hand half price with less than 500 miles run. I'm actually considering getting one used...

What’s truly amazing is that people finance a new Harley CVO and then don’t even ride it. The proof is how many used CVOs are available with super low miles. A used CVO is a great buy though because they depreciate to about the same price as a standard model on the used market.

I bought a used CVO and it’s awesome

You nailed it on this episode! So many super expensive bikes these days that just are not worth the money. Just bought a transalp 750. So worth it!

Years ago I bought a used Honda Deauville for $2000. Never had a problem with it and I ride it at least 3 times a week. I would happily hop on it and ride across the country tomorrow, knowing that it will get me there and back with no issues.

The only bike on that list that isn’t damn ugly is the Kawasaki w800. And yea it is a bit over priced. But it at least looks like a real motorcycle.

I can't believe Kawi still makes the W800, I completely forgot about that one. And yes, an Enfield would be more bang 4 buck.

I almost bought a Harley back in 2004 when they had the XR1200 available new. I liked the low maintenance of it, the belt drive, the hydraulic lifters and the seating position. I didn't buy it because of the puny little 2.5 gallon gas tank. I had a 93 mile commute at the time and ended up buying a Suzuki Vstrom 650, with its 5.8 gallon gas tank. That to me was worth putting up with spraying off the chain every time I got to work, the $400 valve adjustments (they have to take the cam off to adjust the valve clearance). It was comfortable, I put 87, 000 miles on it in less than 5 years. My commute involved crossing the San Andreas Fault twice a day and also the area in the North part of the San Fernando Valley where the three major freeways blend in and out of each other, and so many earthquakes have closed over the years. The Suzuki's huge gas tank would have allowed me to right out to San Bernardino to ride up over the interstate 15 to get north of the faults and make my way home through the Antelope Valley, an extra 100+ miles, without needing to stop for gas on the way.
Nowadays I don't want either bike. I'm retired, live 3 to 5 blocks from all the shopping where I live and I want a 250 to 400 cc comfy bike to run around town on. I still want good brakes and handling though and low maintenance. Belt drive would be good, hydraulic valve adjusters like in the Honda Nighthawks of the early 80s, that would be my current ideal bike.

Many people buy bikes that are far beyond their capability. More capable, more price.

How many folks you see on Ducati V4's?
