There are many combinations let us discuss:-

i) If fxe5 then Qg4 then black's Qg5 then White's Qxg5# is checkmate.

ii) If f5 then white's Qf3
Reason for this move- Mate threat on g3.

So now, black's two queen moves are necessary.
iii) Black's Qf6, then white's Qg3+. To save Black's queen move is kh8. Any other queen moves loses the queen thus resulting losing the game. Then, bg5 attacking queen then Qg7. Then white's Qh4 then if black plays Qg8 then Bf6+, Qg7(forced) and loses queen. But if black plays Nd7 first white's Nxd7 then the pin of bishop to get the queen.

iv) a) Now if black plays Qh4 to resist Qg3#, then White's Qh3 to exchange then Qxh3, gxh3 then a mate threat of Rg1+, Kh8 and then Nf7#. So black plays Re7 to resist Nf7. Then white's Rg1+ the kh8 the Bg5 attacking both rook and Bf6 mate threat. Black plays h7 then Bf6+, Rg7+, kh8+ and then Rxf7+ whatever now black plays Rxe7 and black down with a rook. So white clearly wins with material advantage and good position of rook on 7th rank of black.

Hikaru a gem really founded a brilliant move.

Please like this it took me about 30 minutes to analyse whole board with this knight sacrifice 😅.

Idk how but I just looked and thought about the same ngl in 3 seconds that knight sacrifice is the best at that time cuz when pawn takes Qg4 check
If king goes h8 Qg7 checkmate and if Qg5 Qxg5 and then it's the same checkmate unstoppable

For people that dont understand if pawn takes the knight the queen can give a check on g4.The only moves are Qg5 and kh8. If kh8 happens Qg7 is mate and if the queen blocks we take queen then kh8 is the only move then Qg7 is mate

The purpose of the knight going to e5 is to make way for the queen to go to g4 and block the pawn so that pawn cannot move to make way for bishop to aim at g4. That's all
