Little known fact - molds automatically break if you try to cast 40k miniatures in them.

I absolutely will not be using this method to make a load of spare bits for some old RTB01 marines I have...

Im very happy your channel is growing just i hope you're not burning yourself out producing so frequently and with all this GW copyright nonsense, never forget the "hobby" in your name! You are doing great man

Great video, I'm surprised GW hasn't tried suing lego yet lol.

you should buy a vacuum chamber to purge your silicon, they are pretty cheap on Amazon.
If you want to go a step further, a pressure pot for casting in would yield flawless results.

I've been using casting to fill out armies, and it's a great hobby.

Have you ever tried Duplo bricks for molds? Larger, compatible with Lego plates. Might use less bricks in the molds and might be easier to take apart..

Very useful, expecially for helmets/heads or ammo pouches and backpacks

Okay, I need to contemplate this. I am trying to figure out how to properly mold action figure pieces. I have molded Batman cowls and things like that. However, little dumbell joints and female sockets makes stuff more difficult. I am sure I can simply drill plastic heads. Two part hollow torsos with dowel fasteners may be different.

This is just a thought but would you consider using baby powder before you pour for the mold? Might help release them and stop it from sticking to the Lego frame. Just a thought, great vid mate!!

Loved the guide! just wondering if you can then put together the whole figure afterwards and if it will not be too fragile? cheers

Have you considered taping or rubber-banding an electric toothbrush body to your molds to help extract air bubbles on the cheap?

Could you also do another one of these molding videos but use the melted plastic you have in acetone ?
