Should YOU get BiS Ranged? | Runescape 3

In this video I discuss the pros and cons of ranged. Been playing around with my ranged gear after not using it since grico got nerfed. Just my opinions

You should make a updated combat rotation guide revo friendly and also fully manual users so everyone can boss like a pro

Can you do please a rotation guide for range bis with dracolich armour. Like a low effort rotation/mid effort rotatrion and absolutly sweat rotation. love

To answer your question. Yes i like these long form videos, i think this one was very well since you gave the information and your own thoughts and laid out the pros and cons and is very refreshing and different from other videos where you kinda feel inclined that you're missing out since they hype it up so much its the new meta kinda feeling.

Good Video and Summary, only thing I miss in your cost section are the perks. BIS Perks like C4 E2 etc. are quite expensive/annoying to get too and are imo an important part of the cost.

7:56 - 8:15, and 18:52 - sums up my thoughts as well, nice to hear it from a pro! ranged can absolutely pop off on super hard content like very high enrage zammy/telos. the effort/reward ratio is heavily skewed though my biggest thing is not being very revo friendly. I don't mind manually casting thresholds like i do that with necro, but trying to do all that while swapping quivers and manually everything is pretty daunting . could you learn it? yeah but its like why do that if you already got the boss on farm with another style outside of just using it cuz you like it/for fun ofc.

I do see ranged being important for future bosses since it has the highest burst potential to help skip phases more reliably(or 2nd highest i think maybe melee could reach higher? now im hoping maybe you can do a BiS melee guide in the future!

I feel like there's just a small group of people in the 1% that actually pre-build and go for speed kills. These are the people that don't like the critical strike buffs, but for average people I think it's a decent change

So are blightsbounds good? I have dual blights, dual prasuel, a scourge and off H Khop t92, a dragon rider lance for 2H aoe, the Omni and soul lantern. Are my weapons fine? I can pvm any boss. My armor is lacking tho. Melee I have masterwork, range sirenic and pernix, tectonic and virtus, and then t90 necro tank and t90 necro power armor. Any boss I can use necro it’s almost unfiair, my necro lvl is 111. But I’ve recently enjoyed doing the OG Dag kings and have made almost 600m in 3 days from ring drops also got 2 pets from 3k kills. I’m thinking of getting a eldlich cbow not sure or upgrading my necro armor to t95 and doing high enrage zammy to get a bow to sell.

Going over your rotation in a video would be amazing. I'd copy and paste it in my brain and just practice it. You were putting out some HUGE numbers. I have 5/5 Elite Drac, and the Bow, need the essence of finality switches, have the quivers, just need to know a pro rotation like yours :). Thank you so much! Amazing video!

Could you include a simple pre build and rotation and how the use of cinderbanes affects it since you'll only get in two abilities after crit buff? I'm currently throwing sgb, Grico and snapshot after rapid fire when on only 4 pieces of Edrac to get poison damage too

I like the content, but there’s a lot of fluff due to it being unscripted. A lot of fat could be trimmed out and the vid would be more enjoyable. I get that it’s a lot more work on your end though. Thanks for your thoughts!

BIS ranged for most people is just not worth it especially when you can just get T95 magic DW, some cheap Tank gear, Wrist wraps and Blast diffusion boots on Exsanguinate for less than 250M now and deal slightly more damage with that magic setup on revolution than with a 2B Ranged setup on full manual. I regret ever unlocking my Grico instead of selling it, it's just not that good. Ranged without the 4 key items for it is a huge trap honestly.
