Didn't get on with that chest torch last year so I got a headtorch and ai love it. Will get a clip on red light for the back of the strap I think for this winter. It's astounding the amount of runners out at night in winter dressed all in black with no lights.

I’m in Texas. I have no choice but to run in the dark due to heat. Night runners know it’s the Petzl Iko Core and be done with it.

That laser tag chest strap is hilarious.

Really important with the lights, as you mentioned there are lots of folks that still on the dark.
I like a reflective vest plus some LED wrap bands. If need more Light then add a head lamp.

I have that exact model of chest lamp and it’s served me well for the last couple of years, and it’s cheap as chips. Would defo recommend.

I have the black diamond storm 400 that I like a lot. Whatever you use, the Amazon rechargeable batteries are a beautiful thing.

I was thinking of doing the Spitfire scramble again this year, is the chest light enough? You run through some pretty dark areas in that. I used a headlight last time and that worked well, but I think a chest lamp would be better.

That chest torch is a piece of junk. It doesn't light the ground right in front of you, because it points straight ahead, and it's bouncing around the whole time. You'll be yanking on it the whole time. Mine randomly fell apart when I was 4 miles from my house in the middle of the woods. Just an awful design.
