Get Consistent Characters in MidJourney! ✨(The BEST Method)

Показать описание

In today's video I show you how to create consistent characters in MidJourney. This is by far the easiest, most successful method yet. We start by /imagine(ing) reference images, then cropping out those reference images into three separate images. Then we upload the reference images and save them as a /prefer option and value. Finally we create a scene that we want for our character and insert them inside of that scene. I even show you how to fix imperfections and change the character's outfit. Create any character variations your heart desires with this simple method for generating the same characters across multiple scenes in MidJourney.

Chapters:
0:00 - 0:35 - Examples of Consistent Characters
0:36 - 2:28 - Prompt Lab Ad
2:29 - 3:42 - Generating Reference Images
3:43 - 5:11 - Cropping and Saving Reference Images using Photopea
5:12 - 6:20 - Uploading Reference Images to Discord
6:21 - 6:55 - Creating My Scene
6:56 - 7:32 - Inserting My Character
7:33 - 8:29 - Fixing Imperfections
8:30 - 9:06 - Changing Character Outfits
9:07 - 9:18 - Outro

I have watched like 10 of these videos on Midjourney character consistency on different Youtube channels. You are the adult in the room. I'm going to follow your steps and report back here but a tentative THANKS in advance.

When I go to vary region. It doesn't give me the text prompt to enter in my character as it shows on this video.

Thank you very much, for a long time I have been collecting material to make my own avatar in 3D caricature. Your tips added a lot of value, I learned a lot. Happy Holidays !

Excelente video muchas gracias. Si a alguien no le sale la caja de prompt al precionar Vary (Region) solo deben activar la opción "Remix Mode" en el menú /Settings. Con eso aparece la caja de prompt :)

So after you have created "Angela" by uploading to Midjourney the images cropped from the character sheet, you still cannot simply create a prompt saying something like, "Angela on a busy street . . ." etc., even with ---angela added as a tag, but still need to create a generic "girl on a busy street" and then swap Angela in? That's very disappointing. Midjourney still has a long way to go.

First! ... but on the real, this is super useful. I use Midjourney fairly often, but this will take my capabilities to a whole new level. Thanks!

Great tips and your Prompt products looks great, just curious if it's kept up to date with MJ updates like the latest MJ 6 before consider purchasing?

How can I edit the prompt when using the vary region tool? It only shows me the submit button no text field

How would you do the same for a character's outfit so that it would be the same in every shot?

I get constant errors when using vary region: Something went wrong. Your unique trace: underpass-antibody-unguided

Super helpful, thank you! Not sure if other people are having this issue, but for some reason the prompt box doesn't come up in the vary region section, so I'm unable to add my character into the image. Is there a way to add the character (the prefered option set value) into the /imagine prompt itself?

I’ve done this, but in a slightly different way. I’m just wondering is it better to have 10 reference images, or a smaller amount like you have? The face that I generate using the 10 reference images that are saved in my preferred set is somewhat inconsistent. So perhaps less is better?
