I was in Aix three weeks ago. It is the most gorgeous town. We saw two traditional weddings, so there was a happiness and good spirit all around. The public squares and fountains are perfect for socializing. I was really struck by how happy and social the French are. Mothers were out and about with their babies, school groups were at the parks, the elderly were out walking and shopping. It makes me sad to think of how few Americans, especially children, teens, and the elderly, go outside and talk to each other.

Ein sehr schönes Video. Ich bin seit mehr als 40 Jahren mit einem Franzosen verheiratet. Wir haben zunächst in Deutschland gewohnt und seit dem Ruhestand in Frankreich.
