Mold making and slip casting are challenging, centuries-old ceramic production techniques. Slip casting lends itself perfectly to making hollow forms in a wide range of shapes by hand. Making our own molds is super satisfying and allow us to train a wide range of creatives how to make Wandering Bud pieces.

The next part will include how we apply the ceramic decals that Whitney designed! They start as a digital drawing and end up as a permanent part of the ceramic bubbler.

So I’m guessing after the mould came out, you primed it and then sprayed it with light blue to give it that nice shiny look
