Ever wonder how foldable screens actually work, how they bend without breaking, and how we even got to this point with folding displays? I talked to Samsung Display and even used a microscope to take a closer look at some common folding screens to see how they work. Come watch and let me know what you think!

I 100% see the utility of a tablet that folds to the size of a phone. A phone that folds into a clam shell, not so much. Imagine opening up your book/tablet on the train on the way home and fully unfolding it to a small computer screen/TV once you get there. That is the future of computing, especially since SoCs become more powerful and efficient by the year.

Everytime I come to this channel I feel like I had a cup of coffee, hung out for a while, ate some good food and talk tech.

David excellent video and I really appreciate your explanations on the technology, this time from Samsung. I'm looking forward to when foldable phones are the same price as S22+❤️

I was skeptical at first when I looked at the zfold3. Didn't know if the crease would bother me etc. BUT, I absolutely LOVE it. It is hands down the best phone I have ever owned. Yes the main screen is not like the front screen which is victus tempered glass. Strong as a diamond. But that's because it's a folding screen. It HAS to be soft. I have a screen protector I bought for it. But if you are buying a 2000$ phone you should be able to afford it 1. And 2 take care of it, don't drop it, be able to afford a replacement screen. The crease isn't even noticeable once you have the phone long enough. I love big screens on a phone. Which the S22 ultra has a huge screen. Almost got it. But the zfold is the biggest you can go. It's performance is immaculate. Camera is amazing. Plenty of storage. Yeah, if you use the big screen all day the battery will die pretty quick. But I mainly use the front screen and battery lasts 2 days minimum. Moral of the story I recommend the zfold3 to anyone. It's truly an amazing phone and testament to how far we've come with phones.

Why is everyone only talking about Galaxy Fold when Galaxy Flip is so much more minimalistic, practical and therefore will gain more popularity 🤔 😐!?!

I stopped myself from writing a long comment. I want to say this video is cool and you're the perfect person to talk to about some interesting ideas and notions I have regarding folding phones, aspect ratios, and cell phones in general. It might be some good content you could use for your videos and discuss with sponsors like Samsung displays. I would love to start a correspondence with you. If you'd like a reason to correspond with this stranger from the internet I'm 95% sure Google has caught on to content I've commented on different tech tuber videos and even deleted some. You'll know why...

If you’re wondering about the black and white phone that is the first phone that’s mentioned in the video it’s actually the Nexus 5
