▶In today's video, Twitch recently began updating their API, the communication standards between apps, extensions, and outside serves to the Twitch System. As part of this, There has been many errors and troubles popping up in OBS, Extension, plugins, moderation bots and more.

I hope this helps you get your Overlay Expert extension working again.

*Please note as always, Overlay Expert will only push the overlay to Destop/Mac systems and not to Phones, Tablets and possibly not even Chromebooks. It is a very limited platform as per Twitch Extension limitations restrict its ability to do things.*

Hi, so I’m having some trouble when I want to activate the extension. It says “extension is activated” but right below it says the extension isn’t active in the place EXTENSTION-OVERLAY-1 and that I should check permission for the extension. When I go to check everything is turned on and should be working fine. Do you know why this is happening?

this is not working i have tried from twitch it isnt working it loads forever i also tried overlay expert and viewed my own stream from my account and also as guest !! but no overlay was ever shown . I dont know what is the problem can you please help me if it is possible
