Who wants to see a jet-powered car in the next video? Like this if you do!

Well done, but let me give you a pro advice. Connect the delay to a 2 pound charge of black powder, and do away completely with the parachute. That way you won't have to worry about finding the rocket. You're welcome 😎

A strobe light on the rocket could be helpful for locating it with a drone, especially once it's dark.

I love the marriage of Carbon Fiber with the 3D Printed parts!

A few years ago at a rocket launch one guy had a V2 replica. It was about five feet long. It looked like he had put a lot of work to it. It flew beautifully but in the end it did exactly what the V2 was designed to do and nose dived into the ground. Total loss. Turns out the ejection charge did go off but was waaaay under powered for the large internal space of the rocket.

I would love to see a UAV missile project like the Switchblade 300.

This is so awesome!!
A few years ago I designed my own rocket engines and to test them, I made a 5ft tall rocket out of a pool noodle.
It worked surprisingly well and I was honestly quite proud of it until I saw this video...
Now I want to build a carbon fiber rocket worthy of my homemade engines!!

GPS trackers are only massive when you look for massive GPS trackers... there are very small ones available.

"Hey guys, today im building a nuclear missile!, as you can see i forgot to put the SD card inside the Antimatter cannon and i told you il redo it with a nuke so here it is!"

Cool build bud! It looks to me like you never sanded and cleaned the bonding areas for the fins, or did you? If not, try next time to sand both bonding areas (fins and tube) with 80 grit and clean with acetone really really well. Otherwise will the epoxy never bond to the carbon properly. /former Composite tech @ Rocketlab

In terms of a "tracker", I'd suggest looking at something like a Vifly Buzzer 2. These things are tiny, battery powered "lasts days" and very, very loud. Mostly used in fpv quads so I'm sure it'd help with rockets like this!

BPS Space has a few great videos on how he built some really strong fins. Watching it made me want to fiberglass everything.

I dont exactly know why but you are one of my favourite Chanel’s to watch. I love the fact that you keep things brief yet super informative, you dont drag on about the same thing for 20 mins to make a video longer your content is always just so clean and classy

Love how these young blokes are messing around with cool stuff like this and inspiring an entire generation around the world to do the same :). That was some really cool footage!

@Projectair Awesome work mate and love the passion you display on the videos.

Whilst watching the video, it appears that once the vehicle lost its top guide in relation to the launch rail it immediately veered. Maybe next time you launch that particular vehicle, use an additional length of rail (2M to 3M) just to provide an additional split second of guidance to gain trajectory control.

Have you also done any further research into a synchronised multiple engine launch? The vehicle core appears to be large enough to take a triple engine. 🤔

Awesome video! Going to have to look into this whole carbon fiber + Onshape thing, seems like a guy could build something pretty sweet. ;)

UK did have a space program of sorts. However the rockets were launched in Australia from Woomera in South Australia.
