you are a lifesaver. ALEKS only teaches me how to get the correct answer, not to understand what im doing or the material itself. this is far more helpfuul having someone break it down i feel im actually learning somthing in this class now :)

THANK YOU! I spent 2 hours in the module trying to figure it out, but couldn't crack it. This incredibly helpful video made it click immediately!

Really helpful to see the equation solved in action rather than reading over and over.

Questions about the last step: Once we have 2z(z-2) + 7(z-2), notice how each term has a (z-2). If it were 2zx-7x, we would recognize that both terms have an x and factor it out. So 2zx +7x would be x(2z+7). We would factor out the common x. But with 2z(z-2) + 7(z-2), they both have a (z-2) so we factor it out to get (z-2)(2z + 7).

ALEKS should just hire you at this point, your videos are so much better than theirs.

Im stuck on that last step unfortunately, how does the 2z(z-2)+7(z-2) turn into (z-2)(2z+7)?

What if the A term does always evenly divide into the split up B term. In my case i have 8X squared + 12x - 6x - 9.

I know the AC method, but can you do like a quick way to do this? Sometimes this doesn’t work for me, so I just want like a trick.
