I describe how I created this very simple archviz (architecture visualisation) using unreal engine 4. It's one of the first scenes I created and I wanted to share the process.

Phenomenal ...
I visited 3DW site, and just realized that this is what I should start doing a long time ago. You gave me this impulse. Thanks a lot!!

Hi Fabrice, coming back to this video after seeing both of the UE4 webinars and I´ve been wondering whether you were going to make that promised tutorial series about building this scene step by step including (hopefully) the export process from Max to Unreal. Anyway, thanks for the webinars, looking forward to more!

Hi Fabrice, thank you so much for your tutorials. They have been a great inspiration for me. I noticed the reflection artefacts in the corridor scene where the blue skylight reflects on the inside marble. I found a solution for that from Koola in the Unreal forums. In your PostProcessingVolume go to Settings / Screen Space Reflections and set Quality to 100. Also via the console set r.SSR.Quality 4. Now those blue light reflections are super soft.

Hi Fabrice, thanks for your explanation! Always good to share your workflow with others. Better then only showing the beauty of the final result.
Hope you will go on with these video's? I'm a beginner so I can learn a lot of you! Thanks

Man, this is awesome. I´m from Argentina, making archviz from 3dsmax+vray since 2007; actually working at a news show reconstructing police cases and that sort of stuff ( car crashes, murders, robs, etc.). I´m finding this engine really usefull and looking forward to learn about it, so your videos are a great stuff for it!! Congratulations and thank you very much for the effort of sharing!!! Cheers!!

Hello ! here is what i recommand if you ever decide to make another lighting tutorial in ue4 : Start from 0, so we can follow along.
Alot of ue4 lighting based subject videos on youtube are not doing this, and for beginners it's really hard to follow :) Good job on your work !

Hi Fabrice it's nice video. Thank you. I downloaded the scene you have provided, but I don't know why it's looking darker in viewport than yours. Any idea?
