@SongForAlex I actually own several all-tube amps, but the Mustang-series just flat out rocks. I love the idea of having so many classic Fender-amps and -sounds at such a ridiculous price. It's a steal.

They are great amps. I have a mustang V . I love it. Unlimited tones

Sometimes even guys who have tons of tube gear like to dial in a tone quick without tons of pedals and hassle. I own several new and vintage tube amps and I love using the Mustang III.The Mustang amps are great sounding high quality gear at a fantastic price point. Plus, I don't have to have three tube amps running (or on standby) to get wide tonal variety during practise.

LOL. Bro, you're not alone :)

Seriously, though... The Mustang III seems like a REALLY great amp.

Hey Fenderteam, I really didn't expected to see not-Fender guitars in this advertising video. Good job, I like it!!

Got to use one of these amps today while trying out different guitars and it was pretty good for how cheap it was, prob gonna buy one soon once my new guitar comes in...

It is basically a kick in the balls to Line 6.

I have to admit.Nothing beats a good tube amp.But i have tried the half stack version of this amp.I have to say. It is pretty good.First it does not have that usual tinny solid state sound when you turn it up.If you cant afford the money a good tube amp costs this is not a bad amp at all.The day is coming soon when you won`t be able to tell the differance between tube and solid state.$600 for the half stack with celestions

I believe the 4-button foot switch comes with both Mustang IV and V

The last amp I had was a Line 6 modeling amp. Finally got rid of it. Through my search to find another, I ended up looking at tube amps. I landed at Blackstar, then Egnater. Finally I ended up here. This is where it ends. I won't spend $1K on the tube amps when they break as soon as you get them. Fender is for me.

Sir, the bottom line is some of us don't have the financial resources for a Road King. I would consider myself an advanced guitarist and have played pro gigs in my life. I have the chops to own a Road King. But I don't have the $2500 to purchase it. And honestly I don't have the need for it anymore. I play small gigs these days where anything more than a 15 watt tube amp would be too much. And at 43 I really don't want to carry around 120 pounds of amp anymore.

Looks like a Plain Gretsch 6120, A real Proline for sure. And yeah shes pretty nice playing it! Like to have both of 'em here now! HAHA!

1: take the amp for what it is: it is ment to be a convenient compact amp for amusement at home, try that with a 85 watt Twin reverb
2: digital is improving: want some prove? try amplitube. When you know how to use it, it'll beat most non-boutique equipment
Oh yes I have a tube amp, even 2, but that won't make me a tubesnob!;)

for everyone saying you need to get a tube amp and that solid state amps are no good I never seen any tube amp able to emulate tones as good as a solid state I mean why would you say that a tube amp is better when a cheaper device can replicate about 90% of the same noise sure about of tube amps have nicer cabinets and such but I really think there more valued and sought after because people like the classic and vintage stuff over the newer stuff

hey guys!!! i have a question for you...i am considering getting the Fender Mustang V amplifier and i noticed its incredibly cheap, about $600 for the head and cab together! now i was just wondering...does the foot pedal switcher come ALONG with it or do you have to pay extra for it??

The usual tube vs SS thing. If you have the money, buy tube amps. If you are short on budget buy something SS. Or buy this. I had a Johnson (Made In USA) modelling combo made in the early mid 90's. It was quite good. It wasn't a tube amp. I would be quite surorised if Clapton or Satriani started to use modelling amps instead of tube amps. But not all of us are Claptons or Satrianis.

@braberdebrabel22: I ve played both types, and it really dont mean a whole lot. If your good with water colors, then your good with oil paints too!
