Im kind of bummed Kingdom Rush is moving away from being a traditional Tower Defense game. There are still a lot off ways to add new things. Including upgrading towers with a sort of skill tree instead of a straight column. This way you could unlock new towers yourself and not level by level randomly.

This looks promising, I hope the difficult of this game will depend on your strategies, you all know the deal, something hard appears, then adopt tactics to beat said hard thing, then something even harder comes next, time to plan your next moves...

I know about the abilities that you don't know about heroes while you were playing Legends of Kingdom Rush, here are the names:
Gerald Lightseeker
Shield of Retribution (Shield Reflection Damage just like Kingdom Rush 1)
Glorious Swipe (Dealing Knockback Damage)
Martyrs Prayer (Spending 2HP to heal an ally)

Ranger
Bow and Arrow
Poison Arrow

Arcane Wizard
Arcane Laser
Arcane Rain

Both Ranger and Arcane Wizard are the same tower defenses from Kingdom Rush 1.

Random events during the adventures give this game huge replayability value, (something like Oregon Trail or Xcom) you may be ambush 3 times in a row a defended, and then you will need to start your adventure with a slightly changed map and new random events on it, I love it!
