Love the SU-39! Its a frogfoot but better in every way. Better performing engines, more load assets, better tracking, and better looking. It also has the missile jamming system in the rear, so some missiles will be guided off your tail!

The Tornado IDS used to have this feature but it was removed a few weeks after it could be earned (a few weeks or more, I dont remember exactly)

In the future it might (/should) get it again as the Kormoran ASMs also have a land attack capability

So the radar pod allows you to find them easier and the targeting pod allows to zoom on them (and lock them with vikhir and other air-to-ground missiles/ guided bombs)
