Growing up Mexican this is very familiar to me. I miss being a little kid and going out with my friends and family. Going to those quinces and falling asleep on chairs. As you get older those things slowly fade away, I rarely go out with my family now but damn I have so many thoughts. This song and music video bought a smile to my face. Blood Orange is one of those artist that can touch someone’s heart

That last little scene of the kids in the back taking a nap, that hit deep.
Remembering all those family's afro weddings and birthdays at neighborhood centers and waiting for my dad to take me back home at the end. Family is something to cherish.

Negro Swan was the last great album my mom got to appreciate she died shortly after the release of it. Dev is truly a timeless musician I'm so thankful for his pursuit and perseverance through what I'm sure has been a very hard career.
