The only reason I play UFC 4 is because I’m a fan on the UFC. If I was new to UFC gaming I’d quit the first week of playing it and that says a lot about the state of this game

Let's not forget you can drop someone 3 times in the same round and it doesn't effect their stamina or the way they move they can literally still throw fast combos after being knocked down a couple of times as if they not damaged at all.

Ufc undisputed 3 from THQ was better than all the ea games

The amount of times I've thrown a body roundhouse, connected, seen the guy's body vibrate like jelly, but the game doesn't register it and I get countered by a straight is unreal. I also get 1-2 spammed a lot, don't know about anyone else, but you just have to stand there and block it or get caught, you can't slip it because they throw so many heat-seeking strikes.

Also the submission for the defender with the right and left triggers are unfair for the defending guy trying to escape. Here’s why: when trying to escape too fast your bar grows bigger which is fair but the offensive player can spam left to right faster than you with no penalty. I feel like if they just spam on both sides they should be punished too. Let their bar grow smaller. The left stick full circle submission is ok but the one with the triggers are cheap. My friends and even myself sometimes do that to randomly win fights we know damn well we were gonna lose just because of how easy it is to abuse

Also after a playing in a toxic match you can’t even back out the game quickly, you have to sit and watch a mandatory ‘emote’ that shouldent even be in the game- so cringey makes it feel like Fortnite and not a martial arts game. It takes a good 20s to get out the game. It’s only 20s but after 3 games that’s a whole minute, that time all adds up. You should be able to get out of a match after it’s done as quick as possible. It’s terrible being restricted to 2 weight classes constantly as well. There are SO many things wrong with this game

UFC 4 was a typical EA sequel where they spend 90% of the updates in the menu

My honest opinion is, They did so much right with UFC 3. With the standup, ground, grappling, and a lot more. UFC 4 has taken all the fun that I had on UFC 3 and crush it. I have played almost every UFC game, including the UFC Undisputed games. I must say UFC 4 is the worst game out of every single one of them. The camera is absolute ass. Strikes look like they land but do no damage. YOU CAN THROW A DAMN HIGH KICK FROM 2 INCHES AWAY. No UFC game has angered me during gameplay as this one has. This game has got me to the point where I did not even consider playing for over a month. I finally reached division 20 and guess what. I had no fun doing it whatsoever. Something I wanted to achieve since day 1. Dealing with clinch spammers and button mashers. The only way to win in the game anymore is to cheat the game better than the person you are matched up against. I had a damn 9-year old that was DIVISION 17 who just button mashed, I was able to slip his punches and knock him out and he messaged me saying "I let you win, you're trash at the game" Like seriously dude. People learn spamming has very little effect on your stamina so they do it. I play video games for fun in my free time. I come home from work and play them to have fun. I will say UFC 4 is the one game I have never come home and thought to myself, "Damn I want to play that game" I absolutely love MMA, but the game is not an accurate representation of what we love and people train for. The game needs major fixes or a fresh start for UFC 5.
