'Degoogle' Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact with LineageOS!

I have this wonderful Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact that I was able to upgrade from Android 10 to Android 13 thanks to LineageOS.

I would give the specific developer(s) a link by I unfortunately could not find that out from the LineageOS website.

I read online that by unlocking the bootloader you’ll be erasing all data, including DRM keys.
And that “Without these DRM keys, several audio and video proprietary functionality provided by Sony won’t be available including some camera post-processing features, color gamut profiles, white balance, noise reduction, X-Reality Video Enhancement, DSEE HX, ClearAudio+, and Widevine L1 support for HD Netflix” is this true?
How can I get around this issue?
I still haven’t found an official custom recovery source and, even if I did (so that I could have a backup of TA partitions in case anything goes wrong), in order to install it you’d still need to unlock the bootloader…
Does anyone know how to solve this?

I noticed you didn’t use any TWRP recovery.
Is that true?
If so, why?
I’m new to the field, and I’d like to try this with the new version of lineage on this exact phone model.
Only thing is: I don’t want to risk losing all the system data, so that I can restore it if something goes wrong.
That’s why I’d like to find some recovery build to make a Nandroid Backup of the phone’s system before proceeding.
Do you know one that works I could use?
I tried looking for it online, but couldn’t find any.
This device isn’t listed in the official TWRP site, nor on orangefox’s or pitchblack’s sites (alternative recovery custom services)…
I don’t know what to do.

Hows the batter life so far? Im planning on getting one and doing the same thing as well.
Im on a hunt on a new phone since my poco f1 died. Pretty much the same specs but my poco has a bigger battery.

I did buy a Docomo variant XZ1 Compact a few years back but didn't use it. I'm now using it as my main phone but the LCD color and quality doesn't look as nice as my original X Compact. I'm guessing maybe a lot of these "cheap" phones nowadays are refurbished and not using genuine parts such as the LCD? On the XZ1 Compact I'm getting backlight bleed at the top while on my X Compact the brightness is even on all the panel.
