I’ve watched Black Friday sales for 8 years now and every year people ask about these deals. Every year it’s the same answer. The same deal or very similar has been done throughout the year. BF deals are normally stock they can’t move because it’s beginner stuff. What they do is find an entry level camera and kit lens then add a free bag, 2 cheapo SD cards with almost no room on them, some filters that go right in the trash, a lens pen, and some wipes. Then they put the “sale price” as what it was before without all the junk they add. Lens sales are almost always the stuff that people can’t sell in used gear groups and they take 10% off that. I find the best deals in gear is Jan/Feb every year.

I have seen a number of your videos and probably should have subscribed awhile ago. Bought the Sigma Trio on your advice. I am also a deal hound and have been reviewing all the camera deals over the last couple of weeks. I have an A6600, ZV-1 and GoPro 9. Just added the A7iii. At $1498 you can't beat the price. Three items I think you missed in your video: 1) Sony NP-FZ100 @ $62.40 (20% they never go on sale); 2) Sony FE 24-70mm f/2.8 GM Lens @ $1668.30 (24%) and 3) Sony FE 16-35mm f/2.8 GM Lens @ $1668.30 (24%). The Sony lens do not go on sale often and I don't want to miss out like I did with the A6100. I will probably pick up the 16-35 since I just bought the Sigma 24-70 (fantastic lens which by the way is $1059 at BH with free $80 lens B&W lens filter. Finally, the ZV-1 is at a fantastic price and could be your B camera which has that fast focus with the product spotlight function.

The 16-55mm F2.8 is $1, 018.40 on Adorama with the EDU discount. Was surprised myself that the prices weren't the same across retailers. Hopefully this helps someone out!
