pov: you've been classmates with this guy for so long, and never really paid much attention to him, even though your friends and classmates keep shipping you two and one fateful day: you catch him staring at you, and he gets your attention. then, you start having a crush on him and this goes on for two years, and you really think he likes you, and you start to fall deeper. he lifted your confidence because he was the only person who really noticed you, and it was really helpful especially during a time where you had no self confidence. over those two years of middle school, you both shaped into wonderful people, and even though you guys were in different fiend groups, and was way out of your league, you still had this attraction, and it never ceased no matter how annoying he was. you guys were starting to maybe become friends and talking more, when you learn he's moving away, and for a while it seems as your whole world is slipping away. but then, you realise that even though to the average person the relationship didn't seem so serious, he changed you for the better, and you changed him for the better as well. you've become more confident, extroverted and happy, and he started taking school more seriously and became more sensitive with his jokes. you start to accept the situation, and when you realise you've seen him for the last time, you don't have any regrets, and he will have been a key person in your life. now, you lay in bed awake, pondering whether he really did like you back (all you friends thought so, and he was kind of obvious), but you couldn't have been sure. you wonder if he thought of you the same way, and if he's thinking of you now. and even though if the whole relationship was in your head and he really wasn't staring at you so much, at least the little conversations you had, the little jokes you laughed at made you a good person, and you hope you'll eventually get back in touch with him, and maybe confess feelings to get closure.
