Thank you so much for this one!! Wales is always neglected in things like these. Very very well done. I’ve not heard of some of these and I’m from Wales 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

I think this is a wonderful video! My ancestors were Welsh and I am trying to learn as much about the folklore and history of my forebears as possible. Thank you very much for posting this. I truly appreciate your efforts.

This is kinda random but I was reading a book called Son of No One (by Sherrilyn Kenyon) and it had a lot of Welsh myth references and inspirations, including Adar Llwch Gwin, so that was really cool to see it on this list. Son of No One is a great book if ya'll wanna check it out, Keynon is a great author!

Grateful for you covering these topics, a bit of work needed on pronunciation though.

Skarloey and Rheneas from “Thomas and Friends” would love this video as they're both Welsh. In fact, even their own names have meanings. In Welsh, 'Skarloey' means 'lake in the woods' while 'Rheneas' means 'divided waterfall'.

Wait it was not a bishop this story is of the otherworld Rhiannon was betrothed to a welsh deity and choose to marry a mortal king Pwyll instead. Her original suitor is the one who cast the spell and that took place way after the death of Pwyll.

Saturday 5th December 2020. Hi All Top 5s! I'm so happy you're back with more stories! I really loved this video. Another famous story from Wales is that of Gelert, a dog who saved a prince's son from a wolf. Anyway may I make a couple of suggestions like Movie Monsters or Poems? Please? If you can thank you! You are a star. Take care. Merry Christmas. I'm from England and I've been to Wales and Ireland once. From Virginia Clark.?! :) :( ;)

I really wanted to like this video but sadly the pronunciations are way off.
In Welsh a C is always as in Cat never as in Ceiling.
So it is Cigfa, not Sigfa.

Mabinogion is pronounced : Mab-in-OG-ee-on ...

I have no idea if there are more mistakes because at this point I came here to the comments then abandoned the video.
It's great that you made a video about welsh folklore but come on you could at least research how to say the words properly first!!!!
Pronunciation is important and shows respect and helps to preserve the culture

Seems like the guy who owned the giant magical birds should have said “Kill Arthur when he enters the battlefield.” Vagueness like “Kill whoever enters the battlefield first.” Is what will get you killed. -sigh-

Congratulations on the content, but some unfortunate black marks on pronunciations, which jarred my ear.

For the Saesneg out there "adar llwch gwin" translates to wine dust birds in literal translation.
