SMALL TOWN SAHM DITL | THANKSGIVING SIDE DISH 🍂

Hey hey yall! It's another beautiful day and we are moving more things to storage, running some errands and making sweet potato casserole (the perfect Thanksgiving dish... or any time of year if I'm being honest).

SWEET POTATO CASSEROLE:
1 large can yams drained
1/4 cup butter melted
1/2 cup milk
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 Tbsp syrup
2 eggs
salt

FOR TOPPING:
1/4 cup butter slightly softened
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup AP flour

Preheat oven to 350°. Combine casserole ingredients and pour into greased 9x13 dish. Combine topping ingredients and sprinkle over top. Bake at 350° for 30-35 minutes.

Your sweet potato casseroles looks so good and easy (I definitely like the easy part 😆) the only thing I would do different is the topping, I have to add the tiny marshmallows. I absolutely love the little marshmallows on top so very yummy 😋

2 more things you can add to sweet potato casserole are coconut and chopped pecans. Really good!! Feel for you with all the packing and moving. When I bought my current home about 5 years ago...I told everyone the next time I move it will be to the nursing home or the funeral home...lol.
