When I met my wife, she had grown up feeling like the ugly duckling and the ghost against the wall. She had just come out of a bad marriage because she said yes to the first man who asked thinking it would be her only chance. She has been the love of my life and my "prom queen" for almost 43 years and I can't believe everyone else missed what I see in her. Sad song, but I wish my experience to every girl who identifies with this song. And you are an incredible songwriter and singer. I really love your music.
