Maria Sharapova shares her thoughts on how people act the way they do. Pretty amazing insight that I happen to agree with.

Maria Sharapova is a former world No. 1 tennis player from Russia. She participated on the WTA Tour from 2001 to 2020, and the Women's Tennis Association (WTA) ranked her world No. 1 in singles for 21 weeks. She is one of only ten women in history to complete the career Grand Slam, and the only Russian to do it. She has also won an Olympic medal in the women's singles event in the 2012 London Olympics.

Sharapova has been in a variety of modeling projects, including a cover of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. She has been the face of several fashion houses, most notably Cole Haan, and has been in numerous campaigns, including those for Nike, Prince, and Canon.

Time magazine named her one of the "30 Legends of Women's Tennis: Past, Present, and Future" in June 2011.

Tennis Channel named her one of the "100 Greatest of All Time" in March 2012. She has been voted the highest-paid female athlete in the world for 11 years in a row, according to Forbes, and has earned US$285 million (including prize money) since turning pro in 2001. She started a new mentoring program for female entrepreneurs in 2018.

This week Maria announced she is pregnant with her first child.
