What are all the a faders on the desk for. Would you ever map them to do the mix down?

Basically if you have a nice kick and add a loop which also has a kick drum on it, even if the low end frequency is cut on the loop the high end kick 'click' will clash and it makes the kick drum sound awful. I just had that issue and cut the part of the loop which had the kick click out all together.
