Great memories I was there. I will never forget the magic and tension of his openings before he came on he’d sing the opening of his currant hit backstage while the stage was indarkness, the audience was in a frenzy before he came onstage.

This guy, P.J.Proby, was the best ever unique stage performer EVER!

Even now, at the age of 82, P.J. is still wonderful. Later this year I'll be seeing him "live" onstage in the "60s Gold" big tour.

Wasn't he the performer whose pants were SO tight, girls would scream hoping they split? I had forgotten how handsome he was. With the passing of Charlie Watts of The Rolling Stones, been going to the nostalgia part of town and his name popped in my mind! Namaste. Z.

Although I was young myself back in those days I never could understand all the screaming and hysteria which accompanied pop concerts . Unfortunately PJ, while he was a great performer, actively encouraged it.
