The British one sounds exactly like the teachers I had in my school in Germany “Ich hab mein Abitur” (“I have my degree”)

The British situations are so relatable in India .... That's how our teachers get during exams just crazy

In elementary school they would make us recite it, but by the time we got into high school teachers just stopped caring. A lot of teachers would just require us to stand up at least, but if we just sat down right after it they didn't really care. Most of us still don't know why we do it though.

Our 'Pledge of Allegiance" would be 'Good morning mrs/Mr [surname], good morning everybody.'

in american:

there’s daily announcements, and at the end they say the pledge. you’re not required to stand, or say it. you can just stand, just say it, whatever makes you comfortable.

We only do the pledge in elementary. And occasionally middle or high. It really depends on the teacher. My homeroom is ceramics, probably one of the strictest teacher in the school. (Makes sense. She's older and ceramics class is made of mostly boys who were hoping for something easy because the school requires some sort of arts related elective to graduate) She makes up stand. Nobody says anything though. It's only the teacher that says anything. Suprised she hasn't said anything about it.

I have to do it twice a day, know it by heart, it’s almost concerning.
“I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the republic for which it stands one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.”

Showing your allegiance to the best country that has ever existed is never a waist of time

For mine its "The pleage of Allegiance, to the flag, of the united states of America, and to the republic, of ?witches stand? One nation, under god, indivisible, and to justice for all." (America)

The pledge of allegiance sounds like something people would be forced to do in a dystopian world...

Here where I’m from which is Canada, we simply listen to an anthem and stand with respect.

I was one of the few people who did the pledge. They don't really do it anymore. Apparently we're supposed to during announcements, but they haven't shown us the announcements at all this year.
