San Martín de los Andes [ 4K ] - Argentina

San Martín de los Andes was founded on February 4, 1898 with the purpose of strategically establishing a town near the border with Chile due to the territorial conflicts that existed at that time. The first settlement was developed on a territory belonging, at that time, to the Mapuche Curruhuinca community.

Today, with more than one hundred years of life, the town continues to preserve some aspects of its appearance as a traditional mountain town, where its inhabitants have collaborated to achieve a balance in its urban development, using characteristic materials such as stone and wood for its architecture that have granted that image of a mountain village that it continues to maintain.
