Day 2 looked much better! Glad they fixed the canopy issues and the self-righting is always a plus. I'm wondering how the composite strut mount will take it if the holding screws are really cranked down to hold your strut position. Wish that mount was aluminum. I can handle the composite rudder mount but not sure on the strut mount being composite. Put a few ounces of water in the boat and hold it nose up in the air and check for leaks around the transom hardware mounting screws. Lots of leaks in that area on boats. You'll have to seal around them with silicone if they leak. Several years ago another self-righting boat I ran across was leaking water in the boat from the flood chamber. Might have to tape one end of the chamber up and fill it up with water and check for leaks too if you can't find it anywhere else. Nice video and rundown as always.

After watching your video, I called my local hobby shop, put my pre-order in,
All Traxxas boats seem to leak water on their tops,
so I just run some painters tape around the tops and that seems to work pretty good,

Been watching your videos for a while, and I love them. It was one of the channels that got me into RC. as for the water in the boat at the end of the video, I just put a hot racing cooling jacket on my Spartan, and I no longer get any water in it whatsoever. I did a test on my cooling system as well and it seemed like when I put the new cooling jacket on, the water buildup inside the boat went almost completely away. Thanks again for always posting awesome videos.

I believe it is a plastic prop to protect the drive shaft if you hit something in the water the blade will shear off, as on a real boat you have shear pins and shock bushings on props to protect your out drive and prop from damage in case of a strike in the water.

Easy fix for the leak around the foam gasket, put a layer of marine grease all the way around, problem fixed, no more leaks.
