You can literally just buy any fish eggs. They pair well with eggs, fried fish filets, shrimp, crawfish, etc.

It’s a taste i personally enjoy mostly for the fact that you can ‘pop’ the eggs against the roof of your mouth with your tongue and it’s quite fun.
But really, just buy any fish eggs if you want to fancy up an otherwise bland looking meal.

Why even eat caviar??? It doesn't taste good unless you put the effort into acquiring a taste for it. You raised the fish just to cut them down in their prime, not even for the meat but just for the eggs, eggs that are gross. Humans are so weird

I had to make my thesis about caviar in culinary school and there is nothing more overrated than that. Worst of all those sturgeons are some incredible fish that suffer a ridiculous death because of some overpriced, salty bubbles and the bragging rights of those who walk with multiple year incomes around their wrist.

Caviar used to be given out free at bars, because its salty and made people deink more. Kind of like complimentary peanuts or popcorn

They have developed a way (natural milking like they do with other fish) so you don’t need to kill the fish to get the eggs. They do throw out the meat, a lot of the times cause they say it’s disgusting.
