Superman VS Ghost Rider | Who Would Win?

But Ghost Rider is the Spirit of Vengeance. The embodiment of hellish justice, always looking to punish people for their evil

Now I’ve actually done a video already on Superman vs Cosmic Ghost Rider - the Punisher as both Ghost Rider and a Herald of Galactus - but todays gonna be a lil different. Cause we’ll be using the original Ghost Rider from the main Marvel universe, Earth 616. Now for this video, we’ll primarily be focusing on Johnny Blaze as the host, but I might use examples from other Ghost Rider hosts for powers that are intrinsic for every Ghost Rider - like hellfire or the penance stare. And as for Superman, well the current Superman in DC Rebirth is actually a combination of Post Crisis Superman merging with the New 52 Superman, so thats the version we’ll be using

They’re two completely different characters and have two completely different power sets, but they’re both some of the most powerful heroes in their respective universes. And so, in a fight, who would win?

Superman being "stronger" is highly debatable as Dr Strange said the Rider is physically a match for "green scar" Hulk in the WWH storyline.

I don't see how Superman beats Ghost Rider. Yeah he's faster and physically stronger but Ghost Rider is arguably more durable. Literally not much can hurt him besides heavenly weapons which Clark does have in his arsenal. Ghost Rider has hell flames, and a bike that can travel at MFTL+ speeds, plus he can manipulate souls. Ghost Rider takes this fight in a close one imo. He's very underrated when it comes to feats.

You forget the part where Doctor Strange clearly said Zarathos is Godlike when unrestrained, and he shits his robes thinking of that, given he's been killed by Zarathos.

Ghost Rider will most definitely win. It is shown in the comics that he cannot be physically injured unless a magical attack is used on him. So no matter how much physically strong his opponent is, he will be just fine.
He even tanked the worst hits from World Breaker Hulk and walked off.

Ghost Rider in the 1990s Fantastic 4 series made Galactus feel the pain with his penance stare. He can make Superman experience the pain of not able to save lives in a crisis.

This essentially boils down to the win conditions. If the Condition is to simply get a KO, superman can win, and fairly easily. But if its a fight to the death? Kal has no chance. There is nothing in his powerset that would allow him to put down Ghost Rider for long, let alone for good

Just goes to show ya...speed don't always guarantee a victory...I've been debating with ppl about the penance stare working and not being immune to ghost rider's hellfire which imo is more deadlier than Etrigan's. Zarathos is a whole different lvl of power. Good vid

Don’t forget the Ghost Rider didn’t have a lot of trouble fighting the hulk in the Incredible Hulk 1990s series but of course they did not let the fight finish out but ghost Rider got right back up after getting hit by the Hulk
