What's New in iZotope Neutron 3 and How Does it Perform

iZotope has released the new version 3 of their Neutron plugin. With this version, some new additions to the suite have been added and in this video, I am going to run each one of them.

Since one of the claims by iZotope is the performance improvements I also attempt to show this in action and you might be surprised with the results I get.

My question to you is, do you think there is enough to justify the upgrade price?

Hey Kevin, Great video, as always. I actually love this new version of Neutron and did upgrade from 2 to 3. True, and at first glance, the upgrade can seem like mainly a cosmetic revamp of the plugin and modules, but I find that the redesign has vastly improved the workflow and visual feedback. I can't really say how much, if any, the update has improved the general sound quality, and I may be fooling myself here, but I actually think it's a bit more transparent and smoother than version 2. Mind you, I do like the Sculpture module and while it can improve the sound of track or mix you have to be very careful about keeping an eye on containing the top-end or it'll get away from you quickly - hence the embedded low and high filters can really help there.
