I think what sounds most intriguing about this book is that we're seeing a different Superior Spide-Man, I think it's cool when you can see the same character in a different light.

Us feeling bad isn't meant to extend to the entirety of The Inheritors, just Karn who if you notice has similar qualities to Peter. I think you're over simplifying this issue. It wasn't about Otto getting home, no, he pretty much resolves in this issue to not go home until he defeats The Inheritors. There's a lot more going on here at first glance. The conversation Otto has with Assassin Spider-Man and that Spider-Girl is important because it is no doubt going to lead to infighting among the various Parker related incarnations.
