At first I was getting the 'unknown' error. Asking if it was connected correctly. i thought that my Arduino or rc522 is not working. then i found out that my jumping wire is not connected at all between both ends. Reason is that the jumping wire is breaking somewhere inside if you solder it. Must use pins in between rc522 and jumping wire. Haha.

I set mine up to the diagram in the video but I am still getting FW 0x0=(unknown) as well as Warning Communication failure, is the MFRC522 properly connected?
error I'm in COM 3 and using an aruduino uno R3 board the versioned installed is 1.4.6 can you help me?
