Having grown up in the church and studying the bible my entire life it seems there is a big misunderstanding between what Jesus was actually teaching versus what the modern church is preaching.

I think the biggest thing they get wrong is thinking that God is something/someone outside of themselves. That the idea that they and God could be one is perposterous. I think that's the biggest misconception.

This is the question of so many. From Atheists to Catholics to Muslims and Hindus, and even many professing "Born Again Christians" have trouble putting a finger on the exact explanation. "He's the Son of God" that is true - "He is the Christ Messiah" that is true as well - "He is the Saviour" that is what He is what else? There is one specific thing about Jesus that sets Him apart from all other religions, and not understanding this 1 thing about Him can even cost you your eternal soul.



Hebrews 2:16) “For verily he took not on him the nature of angels; but he took on him the seed of Abraham.”



Isaiah 7:14 The Messiah Christ will be born of a virgin - Micah 5:2 the Messiah Christ will be born in Bethlehem - Isaiah 9:6 the Messiah Christ is called the Mighty God Everlasting Father - Isaiah 53 The Messiah Christ will be put to death for our sins and His days will be prolonged (resurrected). The only living God which is the Saviour of all men - 1 Timothy 4:10 - - Jesus Christ is the true God and eternal life 1 John 5:20 - - God was manifest in the flesh 1 Tim 3:16 - in Jesus dwelleth the fullness of the Godhead bodily Colossians 2:9 - - Acts 20:28 God purchased the church with His own blood - - the Word which is God became flesh and dwelt among us John 1:1&14 - - Jesus is the Christ the Mighty God in the flesh



Jesus in the Gospels said in His name to cast out Devils. In the temptation in the wilderness Jesus rebuked Satan, and again when Satan tried to rebuke Christ through Peter Jesus said "Get thee behind me Satan" and then in the temptation in the wilderness He said in Matthew 4 “is it not written, tempt not the Lord your God” a personal claim, claiming the name of the Lord God.



Furthermore, we also see Jesus forgiving sins of people (the cripple man, the woman caught in adultery, Mary who washed His feet with tears), Jesus accepting worship of individuals (the wise men at His birth, the mother of the sons of Zebedee, the blind man, lepers, Thomas, and the disciples after the resurrection), and in John 10:18 Jesus says He has power to lay down His life and raise Himself from the dead (personal power over life and death), and in John 10:27-28 Jesus says that He personally gives eternal life, and in John 4:26 Jesus claims to be the Christ Messiah prophesied of (Isaiah 9:6 called the Mighty God, Everlasting Father), and also in John 8 stating that He is the "I Am" multiple times (I Am in Greek is "ego eimi" meaning the Always Existing One) and the Pharisees tried to stone Him for blasphemy. An angel, prophet, or holy man couldn’t do that.



Jesus flat out explained in John 8:24 that He is the "I am" and He says this twice (the I am in verse 24 and 58 of John 8 in the Greek is "ego eimi" meaning the Always Existing One) and the Pharisees knew this and tried to stone Him for blasphemy. It's not blasphemous to call yourself an angel or a prophet or a holy man, it's blasphemous to call yourself God. Jesus says, if you don't believe that He is the I Am, you will die in your sins - thus, if you don't believe that Jesus is the Almighty in the flesh, you are not saved.



Matthew 28:9) "And as they went to tell his disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, All hail. And they came and held him by the feet, and worshipped him."



Additionally the Word of God says -



Ephesians 3:9) "And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:"



John 1:1-3) "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made."



Hebrews 1:2) "Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;"



Hebrews 11:3) "Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear."



Colossians 1:16) "For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:"



Christ Jesus is above all others -



Philippians 2:10-11) "That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father."



Romans 14:11) "For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God."



Isaiah 45:22-23) "Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else. I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, That unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear."



The Word made Flesh-



John 1:1-2) "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God."



John 1:14) "And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, ) full of grace and truth."



1 John 5:7) "For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one."

2 Corinthians 5:19) “To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.”



John 8:24) “I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.” - - John 8:58) "Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am." - - ("I am" in the Greek is "ego eimi" meaning Always Existing, the everlasting to everlasting one)



John 10:25-30) "Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believed not: the works that I do in my Father's name, they bear witness of me. But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you. My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand. I and my Father are one." -- (1John 5:7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.)



If Christ is not God, how can He grant eternal life to His followers?



Isaiah 9:6) "For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The Mighty God, The Everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace." - - Micah 5:2) “But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.” - - (Everlasting in Hebrew means Always Existing - similar to using Jehovah, I Am, or Yahweh - Jesus calls Himself the I Am in John 8)



Acts 20:28) "Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood." - - (literally just said right there that God purchased the church with His own blood)



Colossians 2:8-9) "Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily." - - (the entire fullness, Jehovah God is in the body of Jesus. Thus why Jesus said if you have seen me you have seen the Father, the Father in me and I in Him, and also to His disciples receive ye my Spirit and He breathed on them the Holy Spirit.)

Matthew 28:9) "And as they went to tell his disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, All hail. And they came and held him by the feet, and worshipped him."



Jesus invites His disciples to come worship Him - He says "all hail" referring to Himself



John 20:28-29) "And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God. Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed."



1 Timothy 3:16) “And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.”



1 Timothy 4:10) "For therefore we both labour and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Saviour of all men, specially of those that believe."



1 John 5:20) "And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life."

1) I think of modern "Christians" don't have a clue of what being "born again" really means. 2) One of the biggest problems I have with 21st century Western "Christianity" is that it is presented like some kind of divine insurance policy, that if you sincerely mutter some "sinners prayer" that you're good to go 3) You have to differentiate Jesus from the Christ and that 21st century Western "Christianity" put way too much emphasis on worshiping the Bible rather than the real message of the Gospels 4) Being a Christian means following Christ, not a political agenda or adopting a consensus mentality

Thanks for taking the time to give your view point!..After teaching religion in the Catholic Church for many years, decades ago, somethings/"interpretations" never sat right with me in my core. Christ didn't make or break but he came to fulfill the law,

Established tradition, community with a authority on earth

And then called that authority, to which its a part of his body like the eucharist, to baptize & make disciples of all Nations

The most important reminder ever.

This rant, this rant is 100% in the name of Jesus Christ and sincerely comes from the depths of my conscious self. My hands are already shaking as i start to write this and I don't know how to begin. Just please read this to the very end. This is going to get deep. There is so much I'm not going to cover, but if you have any question please feel free to hmu.

Let me start by saying this, I believe the story of Jesus Christ 100% real, and this HAD TO HAPPEN. I understand now why it was the ultimate sacrifice, and I never did get that in Church because they always said Jesus was knocking trying get in, when it was the other way around. The holy spirit was knocking from the inside. It is within you from birth. Understand that and this will make sense.

I actually came to this realization thru looking at life from a Buddhists point of view (which by the way, is also a surviving message from the most high, and following this will not lead you to Hell, which is HERE, already happening. You create your Hell)

Ive been doing a lot of meditation, and I have reached the most primitive depths of my subconscious self, which The Self (God) is eternal... YOUR Self (in the flesh) you're a chip off of that same Self. Grasp that. THE Self and YOUR Self are one. I know this for fact I saw the very basic primitive level of the human conscious and it consists of 2 things.

Good.
Evil.

At this level of the subconscious Self, you are simply observing. You're neutral. You see Good on one side and Evil on the other. It looks like 2 gears. They spin in harmony. And you know at this level that in order for This (good) there has to be THAT (evil) ... This good.. You like this. You want to experience this... But this evil... You dont ever ever want to experience that... And it sucks that it has to exist.

Im going to skip the whole part about creation and everything because really that is irrelevant, but i do know about that too, I'm trying to get the true meaning of The Word across without entangling religion/mythology into it, I'll try to leave it out as much I can, because it sort of adds extra confusion that isn't needed. I am just trying to tell you why there is SO MUCH POWER in Jesus' name, and I'm about to stun a lot of you church folk that have been going to church your whole life with this I promise, because I know you have questions that are not getting answered there in Church and hopefully this makes sense of some things but you have to look at God as the eternal universal Consciousness in order to grasp this, but I will shorten to God because i dont feel like typing all that other.

Ok, so the Word.... Its actually a reminder from... The Self (can you agree with me that if God were one entity, would he not call himself "The Self"? Can we agree he is The Self in that state? Good. Keep reading) there is THE self and YOUR Self remember that. YOUR little piece of God you carry with you since birth.

You have been one with The Self many times over. YOU have been sending these prophets/messengers/hints throughout history, as a reminder to YOUR Self not to lose sight of that which is good. And this is THE SELF speaking to YOU right now.

Ive been many times into the depths of Self and I've seen some evil stuff, but i HAD to experience that, so I could fix myself. But i also experienced the pure love side of the conscious self and its truly beautiful... I didnt actually EXPERIENCE the evil aspect of it, i was shown that mercy, but I saw it. And it is not pretty. Well the journeys started getting less and less chaotic as I have worked on the self and I am able to make a lot more sense of what i witnessed. A lot more orderly in these states of consciousness.

Ok so when youre going to the depths of the self what you are doing is basically looking at your own history book of mankind, to get to the point of neutral, you see it in its entirety.

You forget a lot when you come back... But it's buried a little bit closer to the surface than it was before... Easier to access/trigger. Anyway, so I'm just having a casual conversation with my very close friend Dave, whom is a Christian and does not go to church. Refuses. And i never did quite understand why he was so stuck on Jesus being his personal Lord and Savior and so anti church at the same time and he told me they distorted the word when it became a business, and he was telling me what HIS father taught him in his home, and he mentioned aomething about the creation that triggered a lesson i was shown in one of my journeys. This thing (if you want to know what that was, ask me, its a story in itself) clicked and I suddenly knew without a doubt... That the Word, the Holy Bible, is in fact The Word of God. Its the Word of The Self.

Ok I dont feel like getting into WHY Jesus was the Perfect and Ultimate Sacrifice, and WHY this had to be fulfilled, but know that it ended animal sacrificing, and he even made bacon clean, but most importantly... It paid for the sins you KNEW you would HAVE to commit in this life. And YOU DID THAT.. YOU PAID FOR YOU SINS. You lived that. It is in you.... And I'll tell you how it poured out of me.

This is the most personal thing I'm sharing with the World. After this realization, and after i got off the phone with Dave, my girl.. Who i truly love with all of my heart... Nadya Waters.... She came home and I hung up and i had to tell her this.... The story of Jesus and why there was so much power in the name, and THE TRUE MEANING OF FAITH.

I told the story of the crucifixion... But feom first person point of view... I carried that cross my SELF and I sacrificed mySELF on that cross. I tomd her about the vinegar. I tolf her when I cried out ... And this is where i broke fown into complete tears... Even now as I type this because it is so sad... It is so painful.... I cried out "Father why hast thou forsaken me?" ... I lost faith in MY SELF in doing that.... I lost faith in MY OWN SELF... TBAT IS HOW PAINFUL THATVWAS... Lost faith in my but when it was finished... All of mankind's sins were paid for. I bawled for a good 10 minutes and I didnt stop until she said that yes, she had some faith. You sent an actual PIECE OF YOUR SELF that represents PURE LOVE here to live for 33 years and spread pure loveand be SACRIFICED without sin. you loved your SELF enough to do that all that time ago...

And in doing that YOU wrote these scriptures, and YOU knew that it would be perverted, and YOU knew thatvit would be very hard to accept as fact, so you were genius in doing this... You made it so you dont even HAVE to accept this as a FACT... All that is required is a MUSTARD SEED of faith... So... If you can lokk past the whole Jesus part of this and understand it from the conscious point of view which is how The Word is supposed to be looked at, the question of "did jesus die for your sins?" Translates to this....
"Do you believe in yourself?"

Do you have even a mustard seed of faith, that just MAYBE, POSSIBLY, that you might have wrote this word, as a reminder to yourself that there is a way to guaranteed salvation? That you might have kept this scripture alive all these years so it could survive today? All the mud this old book jas been through and yet it still survived? Come on.

Thats the real question behind the word of God (Consciousness)

And to NOT say "Yes".... It doeant mean youre going to Hell... We're already here, but Jesus is the fastest way out.

But.... To say "No" what you are really saying is I don't believe myself... So when you get to the most high for judgement... That good cog.... Guess who will be sitting there? The Christ... Pure love.. And you will remember at that time... I believe that... The Christ... Possibly might LOOK like you here... And christ will look at you and say "i dont know you" because you denounced that which REPRESENTS all that's good. In soing that you'vE made a choice that comes with very severe consequences.

Because in blasphemying what Christ really is, ... A representation of all that is Good, you've willingly severed your connection to that cog which is good... And youll be cast to this hell again, and hopefully get it right next time...

In other words, you don't have to say you believe, but... DO NOT SAY YOU DONT BELIEVE... You can still take your own personal route... To blasphemy the word is to say you dont have a mustard seed of faith in the representation of all that is goodnin the land we live in. Another little subtle clue you put in place for this country is the 3 branches of government, the Trinity... It is a nation under God... When you see it from this perspective youll see all kinds of stuff every day.

So this is my personal testimonail to the power of Jesus' name. Jesus is your trump card. In fact, his name is so powerful simply liking this post can be your mustard seed, if you dont know and arent sure, andd just in case... You hit the like button... That will count.
