Can't agree more. Microfrontend and Microservices must be avoided at any cost. They are huge tech depth require a lot of effort to maintain.

If it is just two teams working on a single project I don't even think micro frontends are needed.

A good old monolithic application is more than enough.

MicroFE actual use case comes into picture:

a. When there are multiple projects catering to different sets of users to the point copy pasting in every other monolithic app is not a feasible solution anymore.
b. There are so many dev teams working in different timezones to the point on multiple apps. It makes sense to split the apps to resolve code level conflicts.
