"I should probably dip more into ska"
Everyone needs to think this way

Whoever mentioned this to Geebz is a legend!! Streetlight is so over-looked as a band and glad he gets to enjoy getting into this discography. Hopefully there is more to come!

This brought joy to my heart seeing someone fall in love with streetlight right in front of me.

Everyone who listens to Streetlight for the first time: *"OH MY GOD, THE HORNS!"*

Please for the love of god, do more Streetlight Manifesto! They’re one of the tightest, most talented bands around and they don’t get enough love on the YouTube reaction scene. “The Blonde Leads the Blind”, “Oh Me, Oh My”, and “Somewhere in the Between” are some of my favorite songs by them. You can check out their first album, but the production value is much lower than their subsequent albums and they won’t have as much ear candy as their newer songs.

“Big band fusion folk-hardcore-punk”. No one arranges like Streetlight, and nobody can write catchier songs while fitting so much musicality in. So special

I LOVE that you picked up on the acoustic rhythm track - Tomas's acoustic playing on his "side" projects is amazing and i think he tracks acoustic on every SM song too for that extra rhythmic punch and it just adds such a cool dynamic.
He also allegedly writes all the songs strictly acoustic first.

The smile on your face when the horns first kick in put the biggest smile on my face. Streetlight is the best!

Streetlight is so underrated. Absolutely fucking phenomenal. So so good, all the time

Streetlight mainfesto is very lucky that all of their horn players are also pretty decent singers. The fact that they can use SO many different singers on every song really puts them a cut above. The fact that at any moment you can have background vocals, gang vocals, lead vocals, and still have a couple horns belting out really lets them sound HUGE

Hands that thieve (the album) is a really amazing album.

"They Provide the Paint for the Picture Perfect Masterpiece That You will Paint on the Insides of your Eyelids" Is on one of those hidden gem songs for me that I think is often over looked. "The Blonde Lead the Blind" is also one of my favorites. Really stoked to see you covering some Streetlight!

Mad props to the patron who suggested Streetlight.

I saw Streetlight live probably a dozen times between 2005-2014. Best ska shows I've ever been to. They sound just as good, if not better live.

I'll never forget seeing them at the Webster Theater in Hartford, CT. The crowd was on pins and needles waiting for them to go on. The band runs up on stage and the singer tells the crowd "Hey, hey, quiet quiet... we have an announcement to make." The whole place goes dead silent. BOOM they just start playing (I think it was "Watch It Crash") and seemingly in a split second the biggest skank circle breaks out.

I have so many great memories of going to their shows with my friends.

Please do more Streetlight Manifesto! The song “If and When We Rise Again” has some excellent Brahms Hungarian Dance moments. I think you’d get a massive kick out of that one.

Tom’s progression of bands is mad interesting. Dig in, in no particular order:
Streetlight manifesto
Catch 22 (Keasby Nights)
Bandits of the Acoustic Revolution
Gimp

You gotta listen to Bandits of the Acoustic Revolution if you like streetlight. It’s their other band. Here’s To Life is an all time great song, not to mention Dear Sergio and They Provide Paint for the Picture-Perfect Masterpiece are masterpieces.

Still here, we actually got engaged at one of their shows. My fiance's favorite is "Somewhere in the Between" or "Toe to Toe", I bounce between "The Receiving End of it All" and "We Will Fall Together". Enjoy, man! It's a great discography, but don't sleep on the acoustic renditions from Toh Kay!

Definitely try Streetlight Manifesto - Watch it Crash, or anything from Somewhere in the Between honestly.

Huge Tool fan. Huge Between the butried and me fan. I’m always here for the musical technicalities and intricasies. Yet, i have seen Streetlight Manifesto TONS more than any of those bands because the energy is unmatched.

Glad they crossed your radar Geebz!

Bandits of the Acoustic Revolution! This band acoustically, plus a string section to make an orchestrette doing these songs. They'll surprise you again
