Must respect 32v . She pulls hard and I kept up . Final call was cobra by 1/2 car length.

All filmed on closed course in Puerto Rico

32V > 16V. I own a Mach 1 and a Terminator. My brother owns a Bullitt, Mach 1, and a terminator. After ported heads, cams, headers, exhaust, he's barely getting the 2V to 300rwhp which is what the Mach 1 is at with exhaust/intake I only. Another huge advantage is the higher redline on the 32V. That motor keeps pulling where they 16runs out of steam

Cobra engines were built by 2-men teams and not on the average assembly line. They cost more so the performance should be better even with the mods on the GT. Still a Good video of two fast Mustangs.

What were the mods on the camera car GT?? It seemed to be keeping up a lot better.. The 4:10s were actually hurting the red GT on a highway pull.

I don't understand why people have to come and shit on these cars so much. Or any cars for that matter. I drove a WRX before I owned my new edge. Do you think that was good enough for people? No. Do you think my new edge is? Not at all. I understand people have different opinions, and that's great. It's what keeps the car culture fresh and exciting. But there's a better way to express your feelings and opinions. I mod for myself. To my own desires, which most people do. But when someone ridicules and tries to disgrace you for the work you've done, That's too much. Sure these new edge mustangs aren't power houses, but of all the mustangs, they're some of the most reliable. They look fabulous, sound great, handle well. Just a fun, tight car all around. It's not always about speed and power.

4v are topend motors. I knew the GT was getting stomped soon as I saw you guys were on the interstate. I've been in both, they are very similar in the lower gears, but once you get into 3rd and 4th that 4v just starts to eat whereas the 2v starts to lay over. Get it from a dig, with the mods you have on the 2v you more than likely will jump out on him and hold him off until the top of 3rd.

I have driven both cars both stock and this pretty much went as expected the gt ran our of breath.

I had a 97 cobra coupe and a 95 gt with big cowl hood and loud exhaust huge tachometer on the dash the whole nine. We raced twice and both times I walked him. My cobra had just a short shifter and a catback. I embarrassed that man in front of his girlfriend 😂

04 cobra should think about upgrading his throttle body and plenum and don't forget the spacer the bbk 78mm throttle body from american muscle is an awesome deal 229 or something and 40 dollars for the spacer. It will add another 15 hp. I have the exact same set up as the gt except I have the throttle body and plenum combo, and I have beaten my friends 99 cobra that has an intake and bama race tune, and exhaust.. No midpipe or headers on either of our cars.
