Also, in the after show, the actor playing David got passed over to play Nathaniel but got a call later to be David. He was in his office and oddly enough had a picture of King David there. God has a funny sense of humor. My guess too after The chosen they will do a series on King David.

Just a note, King David’s wife Abigail was married to Nabal of southern Judah. He was the one who refused to feed David and his men when they were on the run.Abigail found out and loaded donkeys with supplies and took them to David.

I think in the after show episode 8 with Jonathan and the actor who plays David (George) said they did a re-shoot and he was on the horse. By the way, how cool you were in this entry scene. Chills!!

I'm not sure why they mention the timing as 6 days before Passover. As you said, the lamb - male, 1 yr old (which is typically MUCH larger by this time than the little beauty shown in the show). Like scripture says, it was brought into the home on Nisan 10 - which corresponds to Palm Sunday. It was loved & inspected for those days before sacrifice. Jesus was 'inspected' in his Father's house - the Temple - by the priests & religious leaders. I had not heard about the annointing of the hoofs before bringing into the home. HOWEVER that WOULD tie in with Mary annointing Jesus's feet with the expensive oil 'for burial' as Jesus notes. At some point I hope they recall JTB's statement 'Behold, the Lamb of God, that takes away the sin of the world' to hopefully point this out again to people who may not be as scripturally literate. The 'type' of Messiah in the Pesach lamb is SO powerful !

13:40 it’s right there in Exodus 12!! It states to have a lamb at your house by day 10, and on day 14, you prepare it for Seder. That’s exactly 5 days.
