From experience I have found that though the higher pitched bells were louder, a lot of older pedestrians can not hear it at all. So the ting bell might actually be the safer bell to use.

I bought the
Mirrycle Incredibell Adjustabell 2 Bike Bell $7.16 Amazon. This was a good review, I appreciate the time and effort you took to make it. I found this bell to be all that the overall winner was and it was readily available.

I haven't used a bell since the early eighties - lol - but I must admit, I find the Ting Tingbell the most appealing due to it's appearance... Thanks for the review... =]

I use a generic Chinese electric siren that sounds like a home alarm. It cost me $1.39 with free shipping and uses triple A batteries. I love coming up behind people and laying on my horn for a couple seconds. The looks you get from people are absolutely priceless and entertaining to say the least.
Thanks for the video and info. Thumbs up

I would prefer the ting bell because is has a slick design and a good sound.

Been using 1€ bells that I found from nearest grocery store =P Usually last about 6-12 months each, before the "ringer" snaps off, but with that price you can just buy 5 or more of them at once (like I did).

I just got a Knog oi. (The tingbell seems to be inspired by it)

The mounting mechanism is better....

Nice review. You forgot to mention in summary Mounty can be rotated while Cateye cannot.

What’s the best bell if you don’t care about the budget? I just want mine to be as loud and light as possible. Thanks!

I got a $5 one with compass on top. It fits next to my grip and doesn't interfere with shifting. I win.

The tingbell looks amazing, and what is 15 euro’s on a bike of 700?

I recommend getting a Timber Bell or similar. perfect for mtb, no need to ring the bell, so you get more control over the bike. it's not effected by water, like normal bells, classic metal bells work well too, but I prefer Timberbell cus I don't have to ring it.
The timber bell has a switch so it can be deactivated, or switched to mild ring.

But you didn't review the Knog Oi bell which is what the Ting bell is a cheaply made copy of.

Why not put the time that you tested the loudness of the bells in the "Show more" list.
I couldn't find the comparisons by scrolling through so I gave up and added to a tick your neg list.
