That's an amazing song! Every time I hear a later version of this song, though, I wince more and more for her vocal folds.  Girl, if you don't learn to sing on the breath, you are go to have vocal nodules the size of Detroit.  You aren't on the breath which is why your voice runs out and you have pitch and tone issues.  I can see how hard you are working for each vocal turn by your body language.  With as much singing as you do on tour, your voice should be like an Olympic runner off the blocks, but I'm guessing you are doing absolutely everything you can to preserve what you've got and then you wreck it again at each performance.  It's breath and production issues.  Plain and simple.  The power, agility, and finesse should all come from your diaphragm and support.  You are trying to do it all with your larynx.  It sounds bad and it makes me hurt to watch you.  You're in good company, though.  Adele had the exact same issue until she had to have surgery.  Of course, she had other contributing factors as well.  lol.  You can do it.  Just get some good vocal coaching.  You won't have to sacrifice your sound, it will just feel good for a change.  God bless.  I hope  you have a long career praising His name!
