For question 6, I would claim that since the question asks for what inequality the first option is BETTER than the second option (as apposed to better than or equal to the second option), the answer should be x>10, 000 instead of x>(or equal)10, 000, as you wrote.

P.S., thanks for all the really helpful videos! I have yet to get less than solid A's on my college math classes (which so far include precalc/calc. I'm just checking out the basic algebra vids to brush up)

Problem: The rectangular playing area of a professional football field is 100 yards long. The perimeter of the playing area is 920 feet. The formula for the perimeter of a rectangle is  P equals two times l plus two times w.

How many feet wide is the playing area? Don't forget to convert the length from yards to feet. (There are 3 feet in 1 yard.)
Solution: There are two ways to solve this problem.
You can solve the formula for the unknown variable, then substitute. Or, you can substitute, then solve the resulting equation.

Assignment: Your assignment is to solve the problem both ways. A worksheet is provided for you to record your work as you complete this project.

Q: Show that the elimination of ‘x’ from the simulataneous equations:

1. x - 2y = 1
2. 3xy - y^2 = 8

produces the equation:

5y^2 + 3y - 8 = 0

For time 12:37, wouldn't the Option 2 equation have to be 1200 + .05 (s+2000) instead of (s-2000)?. I am asking because if the human will get 5% of the sales only if the sales are above 2000 I think, i might be wrong, that for that portion of the equation it should be (s+ 2000).

If the sum of two integers is less than 54, wouldn't that be just x + x? if it's the sum of two integers, two integers could be x, so first integer be x, then second integer be x, then those two integers together would be less than 54. However if you add 1, that could be equal to 54, right? It's not "the sum of two integers and 1", it's the sum of two integers. (Just asking, watch your vids all the time and they really help, just confused here)
