This is so accurate and you should see how adults are treated when they embrace "child-like" joy when they can. I watch how that is considered as incompetence, instead of a strength. I love to see when adults have moments of joy and when it is embraced because I understand it is a choice to push through what life deals to us, not always an easy choice, but also it is the very thing pleasing to our Father. It's ironic that I had an old lady who thought she meant well to try to tell me about a personal family matter I needed to tend to and she says this during a funeral. This matter, I knew the Lord was dealing with it for me but the lady kept on insisting that I listened to her. To make matters even more _interesting, _ I didn't even know this old lady nor did she introduce herself! 🤨

"Yeah but you need to do [this], " she sternly said. Obviously picking up hearsay from others to enforce her reasoning, albeit naively and disrespectfully...also making matters worse.

I'm glad I stood my ground & politely told her that "everything in The Lord's plan and in God's time; Im going through a transition." Although, I could have said some colorful words to her, that many wouldn't blame me for to establish boundaries or put her in her place. But I chose not to at that time even though she was wrong on multiple levels. The fact that she approached me in such a manner - a complete stranger - was a -dead (pun intended)- giveaway that it could be a test/temptation. I knew she was a distraction on my progress because I chose to move forward with my life and it's possible that The Enemy is trying to draw me away from success or forward progress. However, I will continue to trust in the Lord and not allow others to tell me what to do or run my life, especially when I know I'm right and in line with placing my trust in the Lord. 🙏🏽
