We race the all new Dodge Demon 170 vs my Tesla Model S Plaid down the drag strip.

The Demon actually has a faster quarter mile time at 8.9 seconds, but it is more inconsistent and can only do it under perfect conditions. The Tesla is more consistent, and runs a similar time every time, so it won this race.

Demon: Drag radials in the back, skinnies in the front, E85 fuel, freshly prepped dragstrip, perfect temperatur engine and tires, remove ALL seats except drivers seat, all sorts of weigh reduction, E85 enough for one blast to save weight, ice refill between races, perfect air temperature, not high above sealevel +++. Runs almost a second slower than advertised 😅

Plaid: Same setup as grandma would have when doing grocery shopping - Stock everything. Still wins 😅
