First thing is to make sure that you have app installed in your iPhone. In order to find that one, just simply pull down on the iPhone home screen to activate the search option and then type the name of the app and then search. So, if you have installed the app it will show here on the top. so, just make sure that you have installed this app.

The next thing what you have to do is you have to make sure that you have not restricted the app on your iPhone. In order to find that one go ahead and open "Settings". Scroll down. Select "General". Select "Restriction". Enter the restriction pass code and then from here make sure that the apps from here they are not restricted. If it is restricted then you can not find on the iPhone screen.

Now the last thing what you will do is you will go ahead and open "Settings". You will scroll down. Select "General". Scroll down. Select "Reset" and then select "Home screen layout".Once you select Home screen layout what happens is all the apps what you have installed will be available on the home screen of your iPhone. Please note that when you reset the home screen layout then the position of the app which you had adjusted will be changed.

This actually resets your apps. If you swipe all the way to left you’re until you see all the apps grouped together. It shows your App Library. Once you see the phone hold it a menu will pop up and give you an option to add to your Home Screen without resetting all your other apps.

I didn't want to reset my homescreen, so I swiped all the way left to App Library, searched the icons for the Phone App, help it down and option to add to homescreen.

Nice and simple. I'd avoided the 'reset' option as I thought I remembered it ONLY being used to wipe the phone.

I just face the same problem and thanks to your guide i found the phone application using the search toolbar. However u dont need to reset your home screen because it will be troublesome to rearrange the app again. Instead, just use 2 fingers, hold the phone app with one finger until u can drag it around, and use another finger to press cancel on top right corner to close the search screen and then drag the phone app back to it’s original location on your home screen.

Wow I’ve been looking like crazy for over hour and no video’s helped, only talkin about deleted text msgs and I couldn’t find it in the Apple Store either!🤦🏻‍♀️..
But you help remind me to look on the swipe left Search too and There it was my Messages App 🤩 so I just Long Pressed it and got option to ADD TO HOMESCREEN, then I was able to drag it back to my original spot on the bottom tray near my iPhone 8 home button! 🥳

Whew, I thought my last resort was to retrieve using backup and I need All to keep my current settings not ones from last year.😑.
