The POP test helps you see if your main photo blends into the background… or if it’s doing a good job of standing out amongst the competition. ⁣
⁣
1. Open an incognito tab⁣
2. Search 1/2 of your title in the Etsy Search⁣ bar
3. Scroll down, without TRYING to find your listing - and see which main photos POP out at you⁣

𝐃𝐢𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐬 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐨𝐰𝐧 𝐦𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐩𝐡𝐨𝐭𝐨?!⁣

Well, maybe your photo needs to be brighter⁣
maybe it needs a pop of color⁣
maybe it’s hard to make out what it is you’re selling in the first place!⁣

The Pop test can also help you see what OTHER THINGS are working in your space⁣

Tip: Pay attention to what other listing photos popped out at you and grabbed your attention⁣
⁣
Then, ask yourself how you can borrow some of those ideas for your own main photos! ⁣
