Minecraft has become one of the most successful video games of all time since its release in November 2011. Minecraft is a sandbox style video game that has grown tremendously through the years. Pretty much everyone has heard of Minecraft at one point or another. The game is still going strong today expanding to multiple platforms including PC, Mac, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Wii U, Nintendo Switch, iOS and Android. The game has sold around 125 million copies worldwide with an ever-expanding community.
While Minecraft is a very enjoyable game with so much to do, it can get boring after you put hundreds of hours into the game. Once you build a created your dream home in an immensely large city and defeated every difficult mob the game has to offer, there is not much left to do. Luckily, the Minecraft community feels the exact same way and have come up with challenges to spice up their now stale experience. Some of the challenges the community comes up with are very simple, such as taking away a useful function in the game, yet still create a significant challenge. Other challenges are much more complicated and even the best Minecraft players may struggle to complete them.
The involvement of the Minecraft community is vital to the existence of these challenges. All these challenges do is show off how versatile a game like Minecraft can be if it is in the right hands. Well, I made my own challenge with my friends, you need the creepy mansion seed so this is what you do

1: spawn in your world with some friends in creative

2: get any armour, weapons, food and potions of your choice

3: fly up to the top of the mansion and break in from the roof

4: fill the hole you broke in with using lava

5: turn the world to hard or hard core mode (preferably hard core) and turn on survival and make sure your armour is equipped

6: run away from the lava and see how long you and your friends can last

7: last player standing wins and is rewarded with money (limit is $10), first dibs on dessert, watch a movie of their choice with all the friends or gets to choose what you and the group get to do for the weekend no if’s and’s or but’s

Yeah, that’s the challenge it’s fun I recommend it to y’all

Challenge - Allergic to light

You must survive 100 in-game days without being in the sun. You can't travel out in daylight, or have windows in your house. To make this harder, you can't use light sources of any kind, including lava.

Challenge - 500 Miles


Everyday, including the first day, you must always build a house or small shelter for the night and you must be back at that certain spot at the end of every night. After that night ends, you move on and find a new spot to build yet again another home, and you keep doing this continuously. The way to win this challenge is up to you.

For the apocalypse challenge there is a solar apocalypse mod where when it starts the water slowly goes away and there is a permanent drought, eventually the surface catches on fire removing crops, animals, trees so you only have under ground but you can come out at night.

One challenge i have is the master biome settler challenge, the challenge is to make a fully self-sustainable home in every biome imaginable, but one rule is that it doesn't have to pertain to only one map seed

Create your map and begin!

The rules are that you can’t go outside of the map or loose all of your maps
You are allowed to to go to the nether but you have to come back through the same portal

I have a challenge, kill at least one mob (hostile or passive) on the first day in a survival world. Kill at least one more than the minimum yesterday on each day. Always have a sword, axe or bow, in your inventory, starting the second day. It's called the sociopath challenge.
