Deep defending 1890s style. Cliftonville keeper shouting just kick the ball away and no one leave the box, we are 1-0 up with only 77 minutes to go.. we can win this lads :)

Great job done on this footage. I’m a life long Cliftonville fan. I have the original b&b footage on a bbc Mitchell and Kenyan dvd which came out about 20 years ago.
This is Glentoran v Cliftonville.

My name is Sam Robinson from Belfast, Northern Ireland. I am a Glentoran supporter and have written several books about the club and its history. This footage was filmed by Alexandre Promio using a Lumiere Triographe. You have done a fantastic job with this footage !!! incredible. Is there any way I can make contact with you at Storia Colorata? I would like to see if it is possible to actually colour both teams shirts as they were in the film. If you can post an email address, I will drop you a message. Well done once again. Bravo. Sam

Yes indeed...’talkies’ didn’t come out for at least another three decades right enough.
Great job on colourizing and added fussy here) adding Belfast accents in there would be even better obviously(its English accents in there at the minute)

Thank you, this brings back memories of my childhood simpler days. That's me kicking the ball in minute 0:16

This is like watching statues in motion.
I guess offside was not invented yet.

This is great and it took a while for mind to click that they were wearing similar coloured shirts and the only difference was the shorts - shows how much football has come in 150 years

I'm glad they show us the rest of the pitch nowadays.

Any players who complain today should be shown this footage of how hard it was to run in those shorts.

This footage looks really amazing. Crazy to think how old it is.

I have a video from the 1970s that is extremely red tinted, do you think it is possible to be saved and restored like this? I do not own the original film or anything, just a MP4

I feel like the video can be slightly slower, just a tiny bit
