I've never directly fed my fry. They always just eat the mulm. Gotta love the mulm! Free food!!

I feed DR Bassleer, ocean nutrition), repashy, north fin algae kelp wafers, frozen blood worms, frozen brine shrimp, zoo med cyclops .

I have found Dr B'S baby•nano is the best way to go ~ even with the smallest of fry. And it won't foul up the tank. However, having some "green water" handy is also good food source for fry.

Also consider this- other different kinds of tiny organisms often inhabit established/mature planted tanks like cyclops, infusoria, detritus worms, rhabdocoela flatworms, planaria, hydra, seed shrimp, water fleas, etc. Some of these organisms are even purposefully cultured to be used as a high quality live fry food.

Foods we feed here are Dr. Bassleer (all formulas), Agcore Fish Foods, Ocean Nutrition, Zoo Med Spirulina 20 and can-o-cyclops - For Fry specifically we feed Dr. Bassleer Baby/Nano and Agcore Fry Powder along with added a variety of botanicals to the tanks

My goldfish would eat all that algae in taco's tank. But Taco would eat them! Great stuff. Just started a jug of water in the window sill to grow algae for my goldfish to eat.
